There are also lots of interesting things to see for our younger visitors. During child-friendly guided tours, children learn all kinds of interesting facts about the life of the „gymnastics father“ and afterwards there is time to explore the house independently during the quiz.<\/p>\n
The following combined offers are also available for families, school groups and children's groups:<\/p>\n\t
Offer 1In the footsteps of the gymnastics father Jahn<\/h3>\n\t
30 – 45 min guided tour of the Jahnmuseum suitable for children with quiz and „give away“ (small museum guide):<\/p>\n

Groups of 11 children or more \u20ac 3.50 \/ per person <\/p>\n\tmaximum number of participants: <\/strong> Subsequent snack or barbecue on the museum terrace possible on request.<\/p>\n\t We offer an interesting hiking day which combines paddling fun on the Unstrut and a visit to the museum.<\/p>\n The hiking day starts with a canoe trip on the Unstrut (from Laucha to Freyburg). Arrived in Freyburg, the groups go for a guided tour to the Friedrich -Ludwig -Jahn- Museum.<\/p>\n What do Napoleon and the Battle of Leipzig have to do with gymnastics? In the former home of the \"Turnvater“, children and young people will find answers to these and other questions. They will learn everything worth knowing about the \"Turnvater“ and the gymnastics movement he initiated, which was linked to the early national movement from the very beginning. The tour is followed by refreshments in the museum garden. There are two options to choose from. Depending on the time available, the groups can barbecue on the museum grounds themselves or take advantage of a catering package (see service description). Barbecues are held on the museum terrace with its magnificent view of the beautiful Unstrut valley. In bad weather, the vaulted cellar is available. All necessary barbecue utensils are provided by the museum. Barbecue food and drinks will be organized by us.
