Wegen Umzugs- und Sanierungsvorbereitungen sind Führungen und Besuche bis Ende März 2026 nur noch auf Anfrage möglich. Kontaktieren Sie uns gerne!
Besucherinformation Sanierung 2026 bis 2028:
Ab April 2026 bis Ende 2028 wird das Jahn-Museum im ehemaligen Wohnhaus des Turnvaters für eine Generalsanierung geschlossen.
Bis Ende März 2026 ist das Museum nur noch auf Anfrage und für Führungen geöffnet (Mo-Sa). Sprechen Sie uns gerne an.
Bis Sommer 2026 wird in der Jahn-Ehrenhalle in Freyburgs Innenstadt (Schützenstraße 17) eine Interimsausstellung eingerichtet. Während der Zeit der Sanierung am Wohnhaus bieten wir dort ein volles Ausstellungs-programm einschließlich museumspädagogischem Angebot. Genaue Infos geben wir rechtzeitig bekannt.

Approach via the A4
Take the motorway exit 50 Apolda,
follow the B87 in the direction of Eckartsberga,
change to the B250 in the direction of Bad Bibra,
after Bad Bibra change to the B176 direction Freyburg via Laucha.
Approach via the A9 from the south
Take the motorway exit 21a Naumburg,
follow the B180 in the direction of Naumburg,
follow the signs in the direction of Freyburg.
Approach via the A9 from the north
At the Rippachtal motorway junction, change to the A38 towards Leuna,
take the motorway exit 25 Merseburg Süd,
follow the signs to Freyburg (K2173, L181, L189, B176),
at the roundabout before Freyburg take the second exit.
Approach via the A38 from the west
Take motorway exit 19 (end of motorway),
change to the B180 in the direction of Querfurt,
follow the signs to Freyburg.
Parking
Direkt am Museum in der Schlossstraße stehen einige kostenlose Parkplätze (Parkbuchten) zur Verfügung. Nutzen Sie bitte auch den Besucherparkplatz in der Mühlstraße.
