Hygiene concept

Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Society e.V.

Business area: Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Museum

Status: 24.11.2021

The following protective and hygienic measures will be implemented during the Corona pandemic according to the SARS-CoV-2 Containment Ordinance of the State of Saxony-Anhalt and the 6th SARS-CoV-2 Containment Ordinance BLK , dated 23 November 2021:

2G+regulation:

Admission to the museum is only permitted with a 2G+ certificate (vaccinated or recovered) and after presentation of a valid official photo ID in conjunction with proof of a negative corona shell test (not older than 24 hours) or PCR test (not older than 48 hours). Please have the relevant documents ready.

Children and adolescents under the age of 18 are exempt from compulsory testing, provided they do not show symptoms of illness such as fever or cough.

Contact Tracking:

We collect the necessary contact information (name, address, phone number, email address). The contact data will be kept for 4 weeks, then destroyed.

Hygiene & Distance:

Throughout the museum premises, the wearing of a medical mouth-nose mask or a protective mask of classification FFP2 or equivalent as defined by the applicable Saxony-Anhalt state ordinance is mandatory.

Please use the disinfectant provided. There is a stand dispenser with disinfectant at the entrances to each building (residential building and administration building). Mobile dispensers for hand disinfection are located in the ladies' and gents' toilets.

Please keep a distance of at least 2 m from other persons and follow the prescribed tour of the museum. Floor stickers reminding visitors of the distance requirement and indicating the tour are displayed in all areas. Due to the limited access (maximum number of persons per room), there may be short waiting times. We ask for your understanding in this regard.

In the toilets (ladies, gents, staff), there are notices reminding people to wash their hands properly. Soap and disinfectants are available for visitors. Our staff cleans and disinfects all areas accessible to visitors at least twice a day. In addition, door handles, toilets and handrails and the surfaces of the checkout counter are to be cleaned/disinfected as needed or every hour. The cleaning is documented. Sufficient cleaning agents and disinfectants are provided by the Friedrich Ludwig Jahn Society.

Tours and events:

Guided tours and events in the outdoor area take place with a maximum of 20 people, in compliance with the hygiene concept.

Museum shop and payment:

The cash desk is separated by glass or Plexiglas panes to prevent direct contact between cash desk staff and visitors. Since card payments are not (yet) possible in the museum, a money tray was purchased to prevent direct contact. This is regularly disinfected. The cashiers also have their own disinfectant dispenser and disposable gloves at their disposal. Alternatively, payment via PayPal or invoice is offered.
